Notes: First appearance of 'The Rider' - I'd had a similar, mystical horse-riding type in the second issue, based on the animated knight at the beginning of the ITV children's series Knightmare, serving a similar purpose; as I developed the stories, they became one and the same, forming a particular bond with the Astrologer Lightning. Was he meant to be a ghost Clint Eastwood, man-with-no-name type? Maybe, but it's nearly thirty-five years ago and growing hazy...
