Notes: doesn't really need the Venn diagram to see this page owes lots to Airwolf and The Highwayman - like those fan-produced mash-ups on YouTube of things like Star Trek vs, BSG, Airwolf vs. Knight Rider and the like, I was doing this stuff thirty or forty years ago with the only tools I had then - pen and paper. My earliest fan art material had strange combinations of Transformers, Thunderbirds and even Buck Rogers - these fast, futuristic explosions of heavy metal machines lend themselves to many permutations, and I tried quite a few.
